Official Match Hotels

Bookings open 1st March 2010 ~ close 31st May 2010

Hotels: Reservations will be made during the Online Registration process on a "first come, first served" basis, at which time it will be necessary to pay for your room in full, in advance, please also indicate your preferred hotel, number of occupants in room and choice of king or twin beds. The rates indicated below are ONLY if you book with through the Match Organizers.

Due to limited number of rooms available in each hotels, competitors are urged to send in their match registration and room requests as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment. The match organizers shall do their utmost to accommodate all requests.

Should indicated hotel of choice be fully booked, reservations will automatically be made in the alternate official match hotel.

Rates differs in both official hotels. Instead of requiring competitors to make another remittance to top up the difference (incurring unnecessary banking charges and wasting precious time), match organizer kindly requests that USD65 per room night be remitted instead (incl. match fees and ammunition purchase, if any). Refunds for the difference shall be given for bookings secured in the Grand Paragon, during match registration at the range on 16-17 October.

Rates quoted above are for a room per night nett, including taxes and breakfast. Occupancy is typically based on a double or twin basis (see hotel website for details).

Hotels with a Yes under the Bus heading include free transportation to and from the range each shooting day, as well as to/from the Opening Ceremony and Awards Dinner, provided the hotel booking is made through the Match Organisers. Bus schedules will be posted in the lobby of each hotel.

Malaysia law requires all firearms and ammunition to be stored in the range’s armory. Firearms and ammunition shall be drawn from and returned to the armory daily. In account of this, competitors are advised to arrive at the range early in order to prepare their equipment and themselves for the day.

Participants who book rooms at the above hotels directly (i.e. not through Match Organisers), and those who chose to stay at other hotels, will not be entitled to the special preferred room rates and any free range transportation.

Note that both official hotels are within Johor Bahru city center, where retail and food outlets are within walking distance.
